Job Description
Keep accurate records for all daily transactions
Process invoices and prepare balance sheets
Review and implement financial policies
Create and update expense reports
Enter financial transactions into internal databases
Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
Update internal systems with financial data
Track bank deposits and payments
Reconcile bank statements, invoices, and identify discrepancies
Posts customer payments by recording cash and check collections in the system
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
Monitor and analyze credit-worthiness of accounts and recommend proper actions
Maintain digital and physical financial records
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent
Proven work experience as Accounting Officer or similar role
Knows how to analyze and compute taxes
Experience with accounting systems
Knowledge of accountant rules and legislation
Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
Experience using financial software
Advanced MS Excel skills
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Professional qualification as a CPA is a plus
