Position Overview
The Accounting Close team ensures all transactions are correctly accounted for and provides a golden source financial information data set upon which all internal and external reporting is based. You will be performing and reviewing finance and accounting process but not limited to cost calculations, cost bookings, analytical review, reconciliation, MRP substantiation, financial commentary and reporting process in adherence to Global Accounting policy. Our team of experts will be there to support your development to ensure you excel in this role.
Your key responsibilities
Review of month end functions such as review of later adjustment entries with proper root cause analysis performed on operations issues.
Perform sense checks/ self-review of process outputs to detect irregularities, error or variance
Ensure quality of output are:
in compliance with predefined processes and service level agreements
in compliance with policies, legal and statutory requirements
accurate and complete
Handle direct cost related queries and recommend resolution of issues
Your skills and experience
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, or its Business-related equivalents with Accounting courses
Experience in accounting, finance or audit gained from the Financial Services, Audit or BPO industry would be beneficial
Combined analytical and problem solving skills
A team player who is collaborative yet able to work independently
