Job Summary:
As a Senior Dental Accountant, you'll perform high-level bookkeeping duties for our client's set of books, take part in their monthly-financial review meetings & deliver on time, each month.
To be successful in this role, you will have in-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) & experience with risk management, be responsive to our clients & supporting staff, have a high level of communication skills, & above all is reliable to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
Perform bookkeeping services for several dental clients each month
Record and pay accounts payable for select clients
Issue invoices to and collects from customers
Payroll Management
Create financial statements and related financial reports
Remit payroll taxes, sales taxes, use taxes, and income taxes
Account for fixed assets
Reconcile bank accounts and petty cash accounts
Collect information as needed for the annual audit
Maintain a coherent system of accounts, with a supporting filing system
Monitor cash levels
Requirements
Work experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation
Hands-on experience with general ledger accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Experience with cash management and risk assessment
Good knowledge of accounting software
Attention to detail
Ability to work with tight deadlines
BS or MS in Accounting or Finance
