The UI/UX Specialist will gather and evaluate user requirements, in collaboration with the project team and/or product manager to be able to illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, etc. He/she will be using modern design software and wireframing tools to be able to create low to high fidelity mockups or prototypes for both web and mobile applications.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Collaborate with other designers, project team, customers, product managers, ad other stakeholders to find solutions that improve user experience and app design.
Create prototypes and perform usability testing to guide each iteration of the design and development.
Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, sitemaps, etc.;
Present design concepts that meet business and/or client requirements
Articulate design decisions and insights to stakeholders and co-workers through story telling
Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches, etc.)
Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images.
Ensures overall quality of the products/projects delivered through UI/UX activities
Drive continuous improvements of the system development practice and processes
Work closely with development team to provide functional annotations and explanations of designs to key end-users and stakeholders
College Graduate (any IT or Software Design, any related course)
At least 3+ years of experience in the UI/UX Design, Product design, or related discipline
Has experience or is proficient using UI/UX Design and wireframing Tools like Figma,
Balsamiq, etc. for low to high fidelity wireframes and prototypes
Updated knowledge on other design software
A strong understanding of common UX patterns, and how they should be applied in practice
Strong analytical and planning skills to be able to make sense of complex sets of information,
and structure them in a logical way.
Strong communication and presentation skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
Excellent problem-solving skills and good attention to detail
Good time management skills
Strong eye for design
Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
Portfolio of design projects
Someone with experience, but not a senior role
