IDS is recruiting a Transportation Manager to deliver quality, cost-effective, operational support services for the U.S. military throughout the country of the Philippines. The Transportation Manager provides direct oversight all vehicles and ancillary equipment maintenance on the program. They are responsible for managing the execution, direction, and coordination of all transportation matters within the organization. This includes managing budgets, organizing schedules, ensuring vehicles are safe and meet legal requirements, and making sure that drivers are aware of their duties. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities:
The Transportation Manager is primarily responsible for all aspects of operation and maintenance of contractor provided and Government Furnished vehicles.
The Transportation Manager is responsible for the daily execution and successful operation of Base Support Vehicles and Equipment (BSVE) Transportation Services in all areas.
The Transportation Manager shall also be responsible for all aspects of transportation related ancillary equipment maintenance.
Ensure contract compliance while adhering to company and government processes, regulations, and statutes while promoting quality control, innovation, and a safe work environment.
Required Qualifications:
Associate of Arts, Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree from a U.S. or equivalent accredited college or university or equivalent institution. Equivalent experience may be substituted for an education degree.
At least five (5) years of experience in Transportation maintenance and operations.
Must have and maintain a valid state driver's license, as well as a safe driving record.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a management or supervisory capacity in a remote / contingency location with a multi-national workforce is highly desirable.
Experience working with and understanding US Government contracts and contract requirements.
Computer Skills:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
