Job Description
The Trade Marketing Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, leading, controlling and post-impact assessment of overall trade marketing initiatives including supervision of Trade Marketing and Brand Activation in his respective area of operation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Trade Marketing Planning
Aligns marketing strategies with sales rollout activities to ensure a strong and cohesive go-to-market trade plan.
Creates a synchronized on-ground campaign calendar to amplify promotions on time at the trade level.
Manages the promotional plan and identifies new promotional opportunities across all trade channels.
Leads and implements channel-specific marketing strategies and plans for assigned trade partners.
Oversees the trade spend and allocates budget across all trade channels
Creates post promotion analysis process to review trade promotions and make recommendations for improving ROI and effectiveness of future promotions.
Trade Marketing Operations
Develop and execute the Trade Marketing Plan in line with sales and marketing objectives and manage the Trade Marketing budget.
Leads activation programs with trade partners to improve brand visibility.
Improves brand presence and campaign execution across trade through excellence in in-store planning, implementation, and tracking in alignment with the annual marketing priorities
Drive consumer insight and develop shopper marketing strategies and drive the go-to-market plans for all channels.
Ensures merchandising and promotional materials produced and routed to all trade partners on time.
Maintains the appropriate amount of promotional merchandise and campaign materials for quicker rollout.
Develops commercial toolboxes, including sell-in materials for the sales teams, and in-store (POS) materials for trade partners.
Visits the points of sales regularly to ensure that the brand is visible, and guidelines are respected.
Executes trade promotions and rolling out impactful in-store campaigns in collaboration with sales teams
Conduct sales promotion analysis, sales performance, revenue, and margin analysis
Product quality issue handling and customer complaint management.
Other tasks
Support marketing team in organizing various projects and improvements as may be assigned
Assist and attend market research to gain important brand management know-how. Gather important data necessary (social media, market trends, competitor information).
Assist in organizing promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success
Performs other work-related tasks as may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum of 3-5 years experience working in a similar role or related position of Marketing, Advertising, Merchandising, Marketing Services, Events, and Materials Production, with a strong emphasis on Category management for marketing and trade marketing.
Significant experience in agriculture and animal nutrition is an advantage.
The candidate must be proficient and proactive in preparing and submitting monthly reports documenting and monitoring all initiatives, budgets vs expenditures, inventory, and service delivery.He or she is expected to be familiar with preparing Work Breakdown Structure and checklists to track progress of simultaneous project

Intermediate use of office suite software (documents, spreadsheets, presentations; G Suite is an advantage)
