The Tax Compliance Officer is responsible for handling and managing the organization's tax accounting functions. This includes tax returns, tax procedures and initiative, tax implications, local government (LGU) compliance. The Compliance Officer is expected to coordinate with the preparation of the organization and its affiliates' statutory financial statements and compliance requirements.
Responsible for the tax planning and compliance for the organization and its affiliates
Ensures that all tax returns are filed correctly, on time and in accordance with government regulations.
Fully conversant with existing corporate and business tax regulations.
Conducts periodic tax compliance review for the organization and its affiliates.
Serves as overall resource person for all tax matters of the organization and its affiliates.
With working knowledge of applicable tax regulations; can provide advice and information to the organization and its affiliates regarding tax requirements, procedures and compliance.
Can interpret tax requirements, procedures and compliance; and can anticipate its implications and impact to the business
Management of the following Taxes:
Income Tax Return (quarterly and annual)
Value Added Tax Return (monthly, quarterly and annual)
Final Tax (monthly, quarterly and annual)
Withholding Tax - Compensation, Expanded (monthly, quarterly and annual)
E-sales Sub
Filing and cancellation of POS permits
Local Business Taxes for all stores (quarterly or annual)
Real Property Taxes
Provision of Requirements related to Letters of Authority received from the BIR
Handle other ad hoc projects as may be assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting;
Minimum of 3 experience in Accounting and Tax Management
In-depth knowledge of Tax Compliance Laws.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
High level of strategic, analytical and decision-making skills
