Job Description
This role involves providing support for tax accounting and compliance
activities for various entities within the Aboitiz Power Corporation
group, including the Parent company, holding companies, special
purpose vehicles, and startups or small operating companies. The
responsibilities of the position include overseeing tax reportorial
requirements both local and international, handling selected
transactional taxation, and managing other incidental tasks such as tax
planning, tax refund, BIR audit, books of accounts compliance in
accordance with BIR computerized accounting system (CAS), deferred
tax accounting, and maintaining the Tax Document Management
System.
Minimum Qualifications
With at least 2 years of tax and accounting experience
Must be CPA, Certified Tax Technician is an advantage
Experience working in Accounting or Auditing Firm is an advantage
Strong understanding of Philippine tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
Analytical skills to interpret financial data and tax laws accurately
Communication skills to interact with stakeholders and explain tax concepts clearly
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in tax calculations and filings
Proficiency in MS Excel, BIR's eFPS and eBIRForms tools.
Minimal field work required (BIR/LGU offices)
