TAXES
• Reconciles and prepares schedules of tax accounts
• Computes for taxes due, prepares funding and payment requests for payment to BIR
• Files and pays all applicable tax returns and relevant attachments for BIR filing
• Prepares journal entries related to set-up and payment of taxes
• Updates the team with new BIR regulations/developments that could impact the business
• Monitors BIR Form 2307 submissions from clients
• Monitors real property tax payments to LGUs
• Reviews vendor, customer and related party contracts to ensure proper tax handling.
• Assists in the document submission to avail of tax incentives
• Prepares annual reports for BOI and such other regulatory bodies related to the tax incentives; Submits Annual Books of Accounts to BIR
• Submits online Annual ITR and AFS to BIR and SEC
• Attends to queries/consultations relating to tax implications on various customer and supplier transactions
• Prepares tax advisories to other teams/departments
PERMITS:
• Ensures 100% renewal of existing business permits and application of new branches/facilities through coordination with plant operation representatives
• Ensures the renewal and/or application of Permit To Operate, CAS Permit and all other applicable permits as mandated by the BIR for new and existing offices/branches
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
Preferably CPA
With at least 3 years relevant work experience in Accounting
Experience with Tax compliance reporting is an advantage
Has working knowledge in IFRS and PFRS reporting standards
Proficient in basic computer applications (i.e. Excel, Word)
Must possess very good analytical, oral and written communication skills
Able to work with cross functional teams
Keen to details and highly committed
Diligent and can work with minimum supervision
Assertive, systematic and organized
Experience im SAP is advantage
