Purpose of the Job
This position is part of the Server team of a Global IS Infrastructure services mainly on backup and storage, monitoring, maintenance, and operations of our Backup infrastructure. This role will be based in our office in Ortigas Centre Pasig City.

Responsibilities:
Perform daily checks on system and storage health. This includes proactive monitoring of the system and storage.
Monitoring and troubleshooting issues related to systems and storage.
Handle daily support cases raised by users within the required SLA, handle all system and storage issue escalation.
Design by sharing knowledge and suggest improvements
Excellent cooperation with colleagues with IS and external partners
Skills and Experience Required:
Bachelors/College degree preferably engineering courses: Computer Engineering, ECE, EE, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
Minimum +5 years' experience managing Storage Network Infrastructure
The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years exp in Storage Admin
Networking Skills (TCP/IP and Multicast), DHCP, DNS
Strong Hardware Knowledge (Servers, Workstations, UPS, Network Printers, Networking equipment)
Strong Microsoft Networking/Technology troubleshooting skills
Highly experienced with setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of various virtualization technologies such as ESX / ESXi, VMware Server, VMware Workstation, Microsoft Hyper-V
Server hardware setup and troubleshooting (RAID, RAM upgrade, CPU upgrade, ILO/IMM. iDrac setup, Dell Vertex)
Experienced with setup and administration of NAS and SAN.
Experienced with backup solutions, TSM, VEEAM, Cloud Backup Solutions, Commvault, Tape Library
Provide technical system support to the various team who encounters system, platform, or storage issues.
Working knowledge with cloud computing technologies like Azure, AWS
Knowledge in PowerShell scripts
Able to communicate effectively (listen and speak up) with all levels of the organization internally and with external partners
Ability to work in a systematic and organized manner
Self-motivated and requires minimal supervision
Well organized and structured
Willing to work within a given frame and follow processes and procedures
Able to work effectively in a global team environment - with colleagues across time zones and cultures
Excellent English oral and written communication skills
