APAC Procurement is seeking a highly motivated Supplier Onboarding Specialist to ensure seamless supplier onboarding experience for the region. The person in this role is an individual contributor to the team and has direct responsibilities for supplier assessment and evaluation.
Responsibilities
The Supplier Onboarding Specialist will report to the Lead of APAC Procurement and Excellence and will be based at foodpanda's Service Delivery Centre in the Philippines. Specialist will support the onboarding of new suppliers and maintenance tasks to ensure continued compliance to foodpanda's global procurement policy and supplier onboarding and sanctions screening process.
Primary:
Gather all necessary documentation and agreements required to qualify suppliers
Assist in documentation submission, which may include outbound calls or emails to suppliers
Monitor, document and resolve supplier questions pre & post registration
Process and track supplier onboarding requests from stakeholders
Serve as supplier and end user helpdesk for inquiries
Cross-check the validity of information provided by supplier vs sources
Perform necessary media checks and internal due diligence
Perform financial analysis and collect financial reports from the suppliers
Interview the prospective supplier and its suppliers to verify the information
Route internal procurement forms to complete onboarding process
Maintain supplier documentation in drive repository
Responsible for creation, change, deletion and maintenance of supplier master data
Ensure the completeness of data entered in Ariba, ERP, and Legacy systems
Ensure master data errors are resolved swiftly and undertake root cause analysis
Assess and analyze the current master data create/change/delete processes and develop strategies working with key stakeholders to improve process efficiencies
Maintain and enforce the preferred supplier program
Support in the creation of Ariba catalogs
Implement supplier performance evaluation across the organization
Conduct qualitative and quantitative supplier analysis
Track, organize, and manage commercial contracts and related documents through to completion
Develop analytics, metrics and reporting that align to the supplier and catalog enablement strategy
Others:
Manage the development and maintenance of process documentation for supplier onboarding and supplier lifecycle management
Drive standardization across the region
Liaise with relevant stakeholders at Delivery Hero / regional teams (e.g. Procurement, Risk & Compliance) on managing relevant policies and procedures affecting the supplier onboarding processes
Serve as the point of contact for issues escalation within supplier onboarding processes
Support internal and external audits
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Language
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong interpersonal and team skills
Previous exposure to business operation units such as accounts payable, procurement, supply chain or finance
Previous experience in customer service or project focus and management skills
Working knowledge of master data governance concepts, reporting and analytics
Organization and prioritization skills to execute assignments with minimal supervision
