About the role
We are delighted to announce that an opportunity exists for a Specialist - IT Application Support at our Manila site in Pasig City, Philippines. This role is responsible for the maintenance and support of global IT infrastructure platforms and support structures.
The Specialist - IT Application Support role will provide operational support to our customers by providing a high level of expertise in managing applications & associated change, liaising with Vendors and Users whilst delivering first class, smooth end user experiences. Inclusive of onsite, virtual, and hosted infrastructure.
What you will be doing
Supporting our various SOE applications in a multidisciplinary team and will also be identifying and driving opportunities for change to the environment and end user solutions based on the cloud first principle.
Managing and patching applications in relevant fields such as Adobe, Autodesk, Ivanti, Snow Inventory Data and experience working on a wide range of SOE applications as well as the full Microsoft stack, both on-premises services (SCCM, Windows 10 & Windows Server) and Microsoft 365 Online Services.
Produce operational reporting and ensure aligned to IT standards, cyber security, and business requirements, and attend Operational meetings with appropriate stakeholders
Manage outsource, contract and software vendors to ensure they deliver effective IT performance including review of SLA, performance, and reporting
Engagement with key business stakeholders, Chief Cyber Security Office, Architecture and Strategy, and IT business engagement to design, deliver and support solutions
Ensure infrastructure delivery activities for areas of responsibility align to the IT design principles, IT strategy & architecture and business objectives
What you will bring
Bachelor's degree qualification in an IT-related discipline
3+ years of experience in production support of custom built and third party packaged applications
Experience of conducting System/ Application appreciation to understand application functionality
Must have experience in Windows 10, Windows Server
Must have experience in delivering ITIL processes i.e., Incident/ Problem/ Change/ Release management etc.
Demonstrated experience Incident triaging, diagnosing troubleshooting issues
Experience of using ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
Good analytical abilities and debugging skills
Advance PowerShell scripting skills.
