About the Role
Software Development Engineer III role for Bengaluru engineering team. The person will be responsible for designing, building, and delivering scalable, secure, high-performance multi-tenant microservices and core product features. The role requires strong backend engineering ownership, collaboration with Product, Design, and other stakeholders, technical problem solving, code reviews, cloud-based development, and mentoring other engineers to improve code quality and engineering practices.
 
Responsibilities:
Designing, building, and delivering scalable, secure, high-performance multi-tenant microservices and core product features.
Engineering ownership of backend systems.
Collaboration with Product, Design, and other stakeholders.
Technical problem solving and code reviews.
Cloud-based development.
Mentoring other engineers to improve code quality and engineering practices.
Must-have Qualifications:
5+ years of backend/server-side engineering experience.
Strong hands-on experience in at least one server-side language such as Node.js, Python, or Go.
Experience building APIs, preferably using TypeScript and Express.
Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
Understanding of cloud computing concepts and hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Ability to build and deploy applications in containerized environments.
Proven ability to deliver scalable, high-performance systems in a fast-paced agile setup.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and ownership mindset.
Ability to mentor engineers, perform code reviews, and drive engineering best practices.
Nice-to-have Qualifications:
Experience with modern frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Experience in Snowflake is a huge plus.
Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, and RDS.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code tools such as AWS CloudFormation.
Prior experience working on multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
Exposure to cybersecurity, cyber risk, or enterprise security products.
Experience leading feature delivery end-to-end with cross-functional stakeholders.
