The Social Media Specialist is responsible for powering our social media platforms, developing creative and effective strategies to grow our global audience, and sparking interest and engagement with our brands through compelling, fun, and aspirational content.
1. Management of Elite Havens' social media presence across all brands and platforms, including formulation of the social media plan in line with the broader marketing strategy.
2. Research, plan and create compelling written and visual content that generates traffic, drives engagement and forms meaningful connections across social media platforms.
3. Oversee paid social media advertising campaigns, including agency briefing, review, and recommendations for optimization.
4. Support brand and tactical marketing initiatives, contributing to team brainstorming and planning sessions and developing social media plans when relevant.
5. Monitor new trends and best-practice industry activity in social media and make recommendations for the benefit of Elite Havens.
6. Work with social media influencers and partners when required to ensure synergies are created and sharing opportunities are maximized in line with brand guidelines.
7. Creatively refresh and repackage existing content for use across relevant platforms.
8. Demonstrate creative judgment, acting as a gatekeeper for the brand across social media channels.
9. Collaborate and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to produce multiple content sources and meet marketing goals.
10. Track and report on all social media activity and interpret analytics into actionable strategies to drive continuous improvement.
11. Respond to inquiries, feedback, reviews, and news communication effectively.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
A solid 2-3 years of similar work experience in social media marketing, creative content creation, and copywriting
Background in a digital agency and or the travel industry is a big advantage
Proficient in social media tools and deep understanding of different social media platforms, networking sites, and emerging media.
Understanding of social media metrics, able to interpret data, and take action to increase the effectiveness of social media campaigns.
Fluent in English, articulate, and has good listening and communication skills
Highly creative and innovative, yet organized and systematic
A self-starter, has strong business acumen, resourceful, and a forward-thinker.
Collaborative and a team player
Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
