In this role you will:
Provide technical product support for complex problems on company products
Interact with customers and internal stakeholders to isolate and fix product issues
Provide design, reliability and other technical feedback to R&D
Provide updates to technical product documentation as issues are identified and fixed
Create tests and diagnostic tools to identify and fix recurring issues as well as potential difficulties
Be a coach and a mentor to junior engineers in your team
Your profile
Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar application support role
Good skill set in JAVA (code reading capabilities is a must)
Basic UNIX/SOLARIS administration knowledge
Good database administration knowledge - SQL, MySQL etc is a plus
Trade support role experience is a plus as well as general knowledge of financial industry
Fluent in English both oral and written communication
Critical thinking, analysis, troubleshooting, and problem solving expertise
Strong written and oral communication skills with proven ability to initiate and manage relationships with customers of all levels
Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tickets/issues simultaneously
Ability to understand and translate customer requirements
Ability to effectively prioritize and escalate customer issues
Team player and comfortable working in a fast pace environment
Good attention to details
Ability to work with global teams across time zones
Passionate in coaching and mentoring Junior team members
Graduate in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent courses
