The role:
The Learning Management System Administrator position is highly collaborative with other members of the Learning and Organizational Development team. They will work closely learners / LMS system users and L&OD team to deploy learning programs to internal and external users. This position will support the Lead Learning Management System Administrator with the operational performance of the LMS and be responsible for uploading content, creating and managing courses, setting up learning paths, assigning learning to users, and troubleshooting issues that arise.
Responsibilities:
Communications: * Work with L&OD to deploy courses to global employees and external audiences. Provide content customization support as needed.
Work with Vertiv IT and LMS vendor to escalate Level 2 and 3 support requests.
Manage mailbox to support external user inquiries and requests.
Create and send student communications to support course, learning path, certification deployments
Work with Lead Learning System Administrator to manage the lifecycle of learning programs to keep programs up-to-date and retire content/courses/programs that are no longer relevant.
Assist in training other LMS administrators as part of their onboarding and/or in support of enhancements and upgrades to the LMS administrator interface.
Functional/Technical Expertise: * Actively collaborate with commercial or external users, Enterprise IT and LMS vendor to resolve issues and provide seamless learning experience.
Support the development and deployment of content materials in LMS.
Maintain learning content in the LMS by creating and uploading modules and courses, developing learning and certification paths.
Help manage the ticketing system with the LMS vendor to keep track of all open issues and generate periodic reports.
Work with IT to develop and maintain learner assignment listings.
Serves as Level 1 support for "how-to" related issues.
Improve Learner Experience (LX) * Constantly explore ways to improve the Learner Experience (LX) in the LMS.
Create job aids or other instructional guides.
Create and manage broadcast messages that inspire learners to explore learning resources in the LMS.
Manage Social Learning functions in the LMS.
Ensure appropriate course/curricula setup and assignment based on job classification, regulatory and competence requirements.
Ensure compliance with LMS and training course standards and policies; maintain standard operating procedures and best practices for all LMS users.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree (in Technology, Training, Business Management, Adult Learning, Human Resources, Organization Development, Communication) or equivalent work experience.
5+ years' experience with Learning Management Systems or related platforms (Online Help Systems, Oracle, Cornerstone, Docebo, etc.)
Familiarity working with reporting systems
Familiarity with relational database and SQL queries
Knowledge of computer technologies and the technical processes involved
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel)
Experience with rapid online learning development tools (Articulate, Captivate, Lectora, etc.)
Previous experience in training, curriculum design, training needs analysis, and training evaluation
Excellent technical troubleshooting skill for Tier 1 support
Can create Job-aids and documentation processes using provided templates
