We are currently looking to grow our Payroll and Benefits team in our Manila office. We have a role to fit your skill sets and help you grow.
The Senior Payroll Specialist will undertake all elements of payroll; from inputting data, processing, and payroll reconciliation. The Senior Payroll Specialist have an extensive knowledge of payroll processes and procedures and will assist with providing payroll related advice, guidance and support to all employees and managers.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Your accountabilities could include:
Establish processes that ensures all components of payroll will be accounted for.
Acts as a subject matter expert and/or resource to others in the area of payroll processing.
Reviews, analyzes and verifies payroll reports and documents for accuracy; makes necessary adjustments or corrections through payroll entries or other established procedures.
Researches, analyzes and responds to complex matters requiring comprehensive knowledge of payroll policies and procedures; authorizes exceptions to the policy within defined limits.
Recommends or participates in the development of new procedures and policies related to payroll operations; assists coordinate approved changes within payroll processing system; updates affected process documentation.
Acts as liaison with staff and management answering questions, providing alternatives, and facilitating decision-making on anything payroll-related.
Conducts training sessions for new hires, including cascade of laws/ policies/ practice in payroll implemented by local government (where applicable)
Maintain withholding orders and remittances
Produce remittances for government agencies
Coordinates payroll year end processes
Process terminations including reconciliation of time offs and issuance of any government/legislative forms/reports required following termination of employment.
ABOUT YOU:
You have a minimum of 2 years' experience in payroll specialist role.
You have a 3 or more years' experience in a payroll position with supervisory experience.
You demonstrate teamwork, open communication and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
You demonstrate job knowledge through understanding of the fundamental skills and procedures.
You are never satisfied and demonstrate a winning attitude striving for success and productivity
You take initiative to share or apply best practices in order to improve personal performance and customer experience.
You are fun and energetic and are engaged at all levels
