We are looking for an artful Interior Designer to undertake a variety of space designing projects. You will deal with design from conceptual development and liaising with the stakeholders to managing and executing the design. The goal is to design practical spaces but yet visually pleasing.
Responsibilities
Undertake design project from concept to completion
Define project requirements and schedule during the "brief"
Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plans
Produce "sample" and "mood products"
Supervise work progress
Work closely with designers, decorators, architects and constructors
Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practices
Capable of doing research missing information/details/specifications for product, building systems, details and architectural type.
Can generate PDFs for review and redline as required to keep the project moving forward at a regular intervals.
Has the capacity to manage, update progress, answer questions, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
Self Directed, Disciplined, and dedicated to each project from start to completion
Requirements
Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions)
Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations.
Proficient in Revit2020, AutoCAD, Enscape, BIM360, Blue Beam
Excellent portfolio of previous works
Experienced in Corporate Interiors, Retail Centers, Office
Creative talent, imagination and eye for design
Communication and presentation skills
Project management skills
Would be asked to put together life safety, CD's, SD's, DD's, RCP's, Custom Detailing
Knowledgeable in Local Codes
