Senior Assistant Brand Manager
Job Description
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
The person in this role is the lead brand operator for Feminine Care Sector/Category of Kimberly-Clark Philippines.
This person orchestrates in-market execution of the Annual Brand Plan consisting of demand generation activities such as thematic communication, brand activation, promotions and consumer recruitment across consumer touchpoints.
This person acts as the brand lead for New Product Innovation (NPI) projects, working closely with the Cross Functional Team consisting of Trade Marketing & Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Regulatory, Quality, Legal and Regional Sector Marketing.
This position interacts and engages with agency partners and suppliers for: Creative/Advertising, Digital & Media, Activations, Market Research, Pubic Relations & Influence.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Brand Operations Excellence
1. Ensures cross functional alignment in operationalizing brand operating plans
2. Works with supply chain and trade marketing in ensuring optimal stock availability and robust forecast
3. Tracks spends vs budgets and ensures good budget housekeeping
4. Maintains and updates brand scorecards to keep stakeholders updated on the brand
Analysis and Insights
5. Performs analysis of internal sales, market shares, execution metrics and other brand health indicators to gain understanding of brand performance, and to identify issues and opportunities on an ongoing basis
6. Conducts consumer connects, and other qualitative and quantitative research to gain actionable consumer insights
7. Makes recommendations to translate identified issues, opportunities and insights into action plans to drive growth
Campaign & Content Development and Execution
8. Prepares campaign execution brief, aligned with Sector Leader
9. Works with creative agencies to develop winning brand communication assets with approval of Sector Leader, while exercising judgement on 'highly urgent low risk assets'
10. Works with KC digital & media lead, media agency and other execution agencies to deploy the communication assets in the right channels and touchpoints, and to perform in-flight optimizations and course corrections to ensure that campaign objectives are met
11. Works with in-house creatives and trade marketing team to develop and deploy POS materials as part of the campaign
New Product Innovation (NPI) Projects
12. Acts as brand lead for NPI projects by working with cross functional team members and partners both in the country and in the region, to develop the project plan
13. Helps project manager drive cadence of accountability to ensure that all team members complete their tasks on time and in full
14. Develops the NPI in-market execution and demand generation plan, working collaboratively with trade marketing
15. Monitors NPI launch performance and provides leadership to ensure achievement of execution KPIs
16. Performs Post Launch evaluations to identify learnings and recommendations
Pack-Price-Promo Tactics Deployment
17. Develops and owns the calendar of pack-price-promo tactics, and works with trade marketing and supply chain to operationalize them
18. Monitors execution against KPIs
19. Leads Post Promo evaluations to identify learnings and recommendations
EXPERIENCE &QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing
Minimum of 3 years experience in marketing in FMCG, consumer health, pharma, telco or e-commerce
Demonstrated success in launching NPIs, developing and deploying campaigns and developing brand plans
Well-versed in digital marketing
Solid project management skills
Strong numeracy skills
Good communication and influencing skills
