Home Health Orders Manager (Work From Home)
 
Qualifications:
Must have Home Health and/or Hospice experience.
Must have Experience with Kinnser
Must have experience with the Order Manager tool in Kinnser
Responsibilities:
Coordinate the management of clinical orders.
Call doctors' offices to get orders signed.
Fax orders to doctors' offices.
Check if signatures are valid and properly placed on the orders.
Upload orders from fax to Kinnser.
Ensure orders are uploaded to the correct patient.
Monitor partner portals for incoming referrals.
Work directly with Community Liaisons to process potential and new patient information and aging orders.
Directs the implementation of improved work methods and procedures to ensure patients are admitted in accordance with policy. 
Ensures maximum third-party reimbursement through direct oversight of insurance verification and authorization processes. 
Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of Home Health contractual relationships and ensures that patients are admitted according to contract provisions. 
Process authorization & scheduling notes in WellSky (Kinnser). Compare submitted communication notes with physician orders. 
Plot and schedule visits. Work with the field team to find staffing coverage.
Plot visits according to the Plan of Care.
Collect clinicians' availability for visits.
Assign plotted visits to Clinicians.
Manage authorizations for insurance.
Collaborate with the utilization review and authorization teams. Work with others in a flexible and cooperative manner. 
Determine a patient's eligibility for insurance benefits, typically before medical treatments and tests.
Submit processes for patients and secure any necessary pre-authorizations. 
Verify coverage and communicates with medical facilities to resolve any discrepancies. 
Responsibilities include staying current with insurance requirements, maintaining logs of denied claims, and problem-solving cases as needed. 
Other duties include follow-up on missing or inaccurate information and coordination with clinical staff and physicians.
