We are looking for a Senior Android developer who will be responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of Android devices. Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services.
You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products are essential.

It allows brands to increase their marketing efficiency via a powerful platform that can be accessed through an annual subscription or pay-per-use; while everyday creators can make money crafting content for the brands they already use and love. The client was founded in Australia in 2015 by Jules Lund and has since expanded into the U.K. (2017) and the U.S. (2019). The client has connected 6000+ brands like Unilever, Amazon, American Express, Facebook, Mars, and Diageo with 50,000+ iverse creators to craft over 1,000,000 pieces of branded content across 10,000+ campaigns.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and build applications for the Android platform
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
Increase unit test coverage, maintain CI/CD for Android build pipeline
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
Help maintain code quality, organisation, and automatisation
Identify tech debts and come up with ideas to address
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Significant experience in building Android apps (At least 5 years of experience)
Proficient with Java/Kotlin, and Kotlin Ext.
Experience with Android frameworks such as Retrofit, RxJava/RxKotlin, etc.
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
Understanding of Google's design principles and interface guidelines
Experience with performance and memory tuning tools like Android Studio APK Profiler
Familiarity with cloud messages and push notifications
Knack for benchmarking and optimisation
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery
