We are looking for a committed Sales Representative who will be in charge of prospecting, qualifying, and nurturing new sales leads. Someone who is self-motivated and proactive in identifying and developing new business prospects from multiple sources will be a great candidate for the role. This is for a DAYSHIFT Australian account - Saturdays and Sundays off!
Job Summary:
This full-time basis position will have a strong focus on identifying new business/sales opportunities and growing those opportunities through the development of strong customer relationships with appropriate decision-makers. You will work closely with the Sales Manager on delivering the sales pipeline, meeting & exceeding agreed sales and activity targets.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and grow sales primarily from targeted outbound sales calls
Create stable, measurable, and productive customer call cycles
Develop and maintain relevant database documents and CRM
Identify & activate new customer opportunities nationally from both online & physical research
Quantify all customers with approved criteria
Analyze sales data to identify and create an action plan for each customer to improve sales
Manage basic CRM and sales functions
Support Sales Manager and report to management with monthly reports
Operate within KPI requirements
Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements:
2+ years experience with a similar position, ideally with an Australian company
Previous experience working in similar industries will be considered
Experience in outbound calling, cold calling and lead generation
Proactive “Sales Hunter” attitude
Will possess keen business acumen and think strategically in planning your activity
Will have proven success using excellent communication skills with consultative selling style to build trust, win business and develop ongoing quality relationships, always acting with integrity
Will have a strong track record of accepting personal responsibility and accountability for delivering to meet/exceed agreed targets
Will have had proven success selling the value of a premium product in a competitive market
Will be energetic, have a positive attitude, able to work independently and be results orientated
