PURPOSE
The position is responsible for reviewing and analyzing the end-to-end operational process of all revenue segments/events with the objective of ensuring the data integrity in terms of completeness and accuracy of revenue records, revenue risks assessment, and in compliance with the established practices and standards of the company and in accordance with the current revenue accounting and reporting standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
With Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent
Preferably with CPA license
With at least 3 to 5 years relevant experience in Revenue Accounting or Financial Reporting
With at least 1 year experience in revenue assurance or billing is an advantage
Exposure to audit is an advantage
Background in SQL is an advantage
Proficient and has a good understanding of accounting standards, applicable rules, and regulations
Demonstrated the ability to understand business context and processes to identify risks
With strong PC software applications skills including spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software
With ability to analyze large data sets
With good verbal and written communication skills
JOB DESCRIPTION
COORDINATION AND COMPLIANCE
Monitor group and company-wide revenue accounting reporting requirements and collate/review schedules and supporting documents for these requirements and to ensure accuracy and timely internal and external reporting
Assists in projects to improve the revenue reporting by ensuring the Company's system implementation adheres to the current business and operational-wide business needs and follows the accounting standards
Monitor and review all aspects of Revenue Accounting and Reporting process in compliance with the established practices and standards
PROCESS/FUNCTION REVIEW AND MONITORING
Review and Validation of Billing/Invoicing and Collection Process
Reconciliation of billed revenue vs subscriber listing of active/billable accounts and the corresponding subscription fee
Review of billing adjustments
Review on the changes of subscription package and the corresponding subscription fees charging
Reconciliation of collection postings in the billing system vs actual collections
Monitoring and Review of Job Order Management Process
Monitor the job order status and movement and provide ageing analysis of pending work orders
Review and Validation of Provisioning and Dunning Process
Regular monitoring of subscribers' application status to ensure SLA and KPIs for accounts processing and activation is attained; to provide additional statistics, if required.
Review of dunning process and validation of disconnected accounts to ensure final billing
Monitoring and Review of Network Management Process
Review of subscribers' status in network vs the status in billing system and the corresponding bandwidth packages
Review and Validation of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Receivable Management Process
Monitor and provide accounts receivable and collection ageing analysis to support the Billing and Collection team and the management in the collection strategy and forecasting
Review and formulate provision for Accounts Receivable
Review and Validation of CPEs and Materials Issuance
Reconciliation of sale and inventory of routers/modems and installation materials
FINANCIAL BOOKING, REPORTING, AND ANALYSIS
Obtain and review schedules and provide complete and accurate revenue package report with analysis to internal and external partners
Corroborate analyses and results to other source reports (sales trend, forecast) enabling validity of qualitative and quantitative information of transactions
Review and ensure proper and accurate recognition of other income
Ensure proper and accurate booking of accounting entries in ERP
