The Rates and Compliance Audit Specialist is responsible for the preparation and consolidation of statistical and operational reports for government compliance,
management information and Industry Audit.
Responsibilities will include:
Compliance
Collate and consolidates reportorial requirements from the Distribution
Units across AP to ensure completeness of information subject
for review of Rates and Compliance Manager * Ensure accuracy and timeliness in the posting of AP DUs monthly rate profile in DUs respective website.
Work with Utility Rates and Compliance manager in ensuring
100% compliance and timely submissions of all AP DUs to government regulators. * Attend regular Information Education and Communication meeting (IEC) and public consultations conducted by DOE and other Regulators offices as needed
Audit
Handle regular internal compliance audits that includes coordination with AP DUs and internal auditors and take charge of the consolidation of the required documents and information needed in the audit
Assist in the preparation and conduct of Industry Audit by DOE through
external auditors. * Attend all audit meetings and handle the cascade of audit findings and
ensure compliance and closure of items needed to be addressed per
audit findings * Prepares statistical reports and operational reports of the Distribution
Units across AP as required by the DOE/ERC/PEZA
Graduate of Economics, Management, or any Business-related course
At least 2 years of relevant experience preferably in the power industry
Proficient in Google Suite and MS Office
Strong analytical and planning skills;
Good communication and presentation skills;
Excellent problem-solving skills;
