The most qualified candidates will have at least five (6) years of experience designing solutions using PeopleSoft Financials applications. Job Description: Ability to understand client requirements, possess clarity of thought and communication and translate business requirements/issues to Functional requirements and design Report the progress of his work in respect with the planning and budgets validated by the project team Recommend and influence best practice solutions when it comes to business process improvement and application design. Analyze customization and facilitate fit/gap analysis. Create Functional designs based on client requirements and needs Required Qualities: Minimum 6 years functional experience on several of the following PeopleSoft Finance modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Project Costing. Minimum 4 years Developer experience. Strong working experience on the following tools: Application Designer objects PeopleTools Application Engine PeopleCode SQR PS Query Integration Broker Component Interface PeopleSoft PUM, Change Assistant and PeopleSoft Server Administration experience a substantial plus. Experience or have knowledge with GL configuration including base table set up, adding ChartFields, creating allocations, combo edit rules, consolidations, commitment control processing, trees and performing month and year-end close. Document functional Use Test Cases Scripts. Experienced or have knowledge with AP configuration including defining financial gateway processing, pay cycles, 1099s, etc. Experienced working on PeopleSoft Financials Application Version 9.0 and up. Proven ability to work with all members of a project team, including business, technical, and management. Excellent written and oral communication skills for both technical and non-technical audience Experience working in a team environment. A result oriented individual and a good team player. Preferred Qualities: Functional experience on several of the following PeopleSoft Finance modules: Asset Management, Project Costing, Cash Management, Fixed Asset, General Ledger and Accounts Payable is an advantage Full project life-cycle engagement experience following a structured methodology
