The Project Specialist is a leader in the Quality and Regulatory Affairs Team, supporting the project manager in overseeing and coordinating projects through the product life cycle from contributing to project planning process, setting KPI's, preparing and maintaining documentation, reviewing contracts and financials, monitoring project activities and performance and provide insights and recommendation for improvement.
The Project Specialist set project goals and ensure that the project is completed according to schedule. The Project Specialist is also responsible for scheduling meetings and documenting project decisions
Key Responsibilities:
Providing operational support such as liaising with stakeholders, tracking timelines, etc.
Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining project documentation and reports
Analyzing project data and producing insights to optimize performance.
Identifying problems and shortfalls and proposing solutions
Create project implementation timelines and meeting schedules
Maintain project budgets.
Record important decisions made in meetings.
Prepare progress reports.
Create progress presentations for senior management.
Ensure that team members meet deadlines
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in business management, Information Technology, project management, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years previous experience as a project specialist, project manager or a similar position
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure and accomplish numerous tasks simultaneously

Strict attention to details
Your Profile
Strong computer skills and experience with relevant software programs e.g. MS Project, Project Libre
Computer literacy including sound knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
Data Analytics
Experience with stakeholder and financial management
Knowledge /experience in project coordination highly regarded.
An understanding of the codes under which Medtronic operate, for example
Medtronic's Business Conduct Standards, Code of Conduct and Anti-Corruption Policy
The MTAA Code, The TGA Advertising regulations
