JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations for an international technical association
Support client’s Executive Committee, Board of Directors and Task Forces
Take meticulous minutes and notes at Executive and Working Committee meetings
Manage administrative aspects of client’s Functional and Security Certification Programs
Manage and update client’s various process manuals and documents
Manage the document review and publication process for technical specifications, technical documents, white papers, etc.
Manage Board of Director voting and elections processes (launching ballots, establishing quorum, etc.)
Facilitate international meeting schedule and requirements in conjunction with client stakeholders and coordinate logistics with Events team
Support budget development and management
Liaise with attorneys, PR Agency and Certification Managers
Project manage special projects, as needed
JOB QUALIFICATION
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role should have the following qualifications and experience:
MUST HAVE:
Experience in day-to-day operations management or support, including leading and/or working with various cross-functional teams
Experience in project and/or program management, preferably with respect to global initiatives
Exceptional organization, attention to detail, problem-solving and management of multiple priorities and demands
Experience with process/policy/procedure manuals and the ability to adhere to, update, and communicate requirements
Experience with meeting management, including facilitation; agenda and presentation development; minute-taking; and tracking of actions
Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively, both in writing and verbally
Availability to travel domestically and internationally approximately four times annually
NICE TO HAVE:
Experience or knowledge of international trade associations or relevant work with stakeholder groups, Working Groups, Committees, etc.
Working knowledge of security industry (software) and related technology concepts
Experience working with outside legal counsel, and managing legal expenditure
Bachelors or equivalent in Business Administration or relevant field
While typical days will be U.S. working hours, the candidate must have the ability to flexibly accommodate other-hour calls when international participants require
