Position Overview:<\/strong> As part of the General Ledger group, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial reporting process for our e-commerce business. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze financial data, and contribute to the company's strategic financial decisions.<\/p>
Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>
Financial Reporting:<\/strong> Prepare and contribute to the generation of timely and accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).<\/li>
Month-end Close:<\/strong> Assist in the month-end close process, including reconciling accounts, journal entries, and accruals, to ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.<\/li>
Reconciliation:<\/strong> Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.<\/li>
General Ledger Maintenance:<\/strong> Maintain the integrity of the general ledger by reviewing and analyzing transactions, ensuring proper coding and classification.<\/li>
Fixed Assets:<\/strong> Manage the fixed asset accounting process, including tracking additions, disposals, and depreciation calculations.<\/li>
Variance Analysis:<\/strong> Assist in analyzing financial results and variances, providing insights into the underlying drivers of business performance.<\/li>
Internal Controls:<\/strong> Support the implementation and adherence to internal control procedures, contributing to a strong control environment and compliance with regulatory requirements.<\/li>
Process Improvement:<\/strong> Continuously evaluate and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the record-to-report function.<\/li>
Audit Support:<\/strong> Assist in preparing documentation and responding to inquiries during internal and external audits.<\/li>
Cross-functional Collaboration:<\/strong> Collaborate with finance, operations, and other relevant departments to ensure accurate and complete financial data capture and reporting.<\/li><\/ul>
Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or relevant professional certification is a plus.<\/li>
5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or related roles, preferably within an e-commerce or retail environment.<\/li>
Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting processes.<\/li>
Proficiency in using accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.<\/li>
Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.<\/li>
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.<\/li>
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.<\/li>
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights.<\/li>
Knowledge of internal controls and audit processes.<\/li>

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Identity Access Management related courses<\/p>. Preferably with over 2 years of experience related to Information Security, Identity Governance, Risk and Compliance<\/p>. CISA, ITIL, Security+ or related certifications preferred<\/p>.
Excellent English communications skills both oral and written<\/p>. Strong organizational skills with emphasis on details and follow up<\/p>. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills<\/p>.
Good knowledge of audit sampling methodologies including control frameworks, risk management techniques, and regulatory requirements<\/p>. Experience with SOX applications and processes<\/p>.
