Job Description
Simplesat's software works best when it's fully integrated with a helpdesk or CRM to collect customer feedback. After feedback is received, our API integrations will send customer feedback data to the platforms our customers are already using. We also have integrations for syncing customer data, providing alerts and notifications, or for syncing feedback between different tools.
Because of this, integrations are core to Simplesat's value proposition and growth strategy.
As the Platform Integrations Support Engineer, you will be the go to resource for building and maintaining these integrations.
The job includes, but is not limited to:
Troubleshooting and resolving integration and API related issues
Ownership of configuring and maintaining integrations built with our iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service)
Being the liaison for regular communication between various engineering teams and customer-facing teams on issues and product changes
Maintaining Simplesat's API documentation
Creating written and video integration guides
Working with sales and marketing teams to ensure we're accurately portraying and promoting the latest and greatest integrations
Communicating with integration partners for collaboration and co-marketing opportunities
Qualifications
Requirements:
Experience with RESTful APIs, Postman, webhooks, OAuth flows, JavaScript, HTML and other integration related technologies
Proven track record of solving complex technical problems with customers and engineering
Ability to work autonomously, initiate projects and execute through to completion
Possess an innovative, problem-solving, and solutions-oriented mindset
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, be a team player, and manage change effectively
Proficiency in ticketing, bug reporting, and other support systems
Experience with agile development processes is a plus
Must be weird
We're extremely flexible about your schedule and working location. Because this role is so critical, we'd prefer somebody who is full-time and readily available, especially during the beginning, to expedite the mind-meld.
You should be comfortable and eager to roll up your sleeves and get the work done in the early days and grow a team over time.
