The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the execution of payroll related processes and responding to employee queries related to payroll. The position ensures the delivery of timely and accurate service to company employees, pushing forth the objective of providing the best employee experience possible.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Periodically prepares payroll roster and validates the same against new hire and attrition reports
Collates all payroll related instructions, ensuring completeness prior to endorsing the same to third party payroll vendor for processing
Validates draft pay registers for accuracy and completeness
Ensures timeliness and compliance to payroll calendar
Manages employee pay and tax disputes
Responds to employee queries and requests via HR ticketing system
Performs other related duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills, critical thinking and strong attention to detail
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
Proficient in MS Office applications
