Position Summary
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for overseeing an organization's payroll, ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on-time. This role supports a US client account.
Duties & Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist are listed below and should be considered non-exhaustive:
•Support the payroll process at a reporting level;
•Develop a detailed understanding of Paycom (Client Payroll System) and prevailing wages dealt for government contracts;
•Verify payroll records, timesheets, contracts, and other documents pertaining to the payroll process;
•Assist on the preparation of any balance sheet schedules, reconciliation or analysis related to payroll
•Support implementation project as assigned by the Client; and
•Assist with ad-hoc duties, administrative tasks as required by the Client.
Minimum Qualification

Ability to convey concise, comprehensive, and accurate findings on matters of a complex nature-based on professional knowledge and judgment
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a past-faced environment while remaining organized with keen attention to details
Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and oral
Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining the accuracy of required outputs
High level of customer focus, self-directed, and can work with minimal supervision
•Education & Work Background
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business management, financial management, accounting technology or related field
Minimum of 3 years of work experience in payroll processing, accounting, or bookkeeping for a US account
Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and previous work experience in US payroll software
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to communicate effectively and proactively with internal and external customers, all management levels, team members and co-workers
Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel (i.e. VLOOKUP, Pivot table, Charts, and Graphs, etc.)
Willing to work in night shift and amenable to work on holidays, weekend, and shifting schedule
