We are looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Patient Service Representative (Spanish Bilingual) to join our growing healthcare team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at communication, and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient experiences - all while seamlessly switching between English and Spanish.Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for patients through phone, email, and other communication channels
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments accurately and efficiently
Verify and update patient information and medical records
Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and service requests with professionalism and empathy
Coordinate with medical staff and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow
Assist with billing, insurance verification, and payment processing
Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations and company policies
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience as a Patient Service Representative or in a related healthcare administrative role specializing in Gastroenterology
Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Proficiency with scheduling systems, EMR/EHR software, and basic office tools
High attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work under pressure
Work-from-Home Device Requirement:
Device: Personal computer with Intel Core i5 or higher, or AMD Ryzen 5 or higher
Internet: Wired connection with at least 50 Mbps download speed, plus a backup connection (e.g., mobile hotspot or prepaid Wi-Fi)
Work Environment: Quiet, well-lit space with minimal background noise
