Your Role and Responsibilities
The Network Specialist provides technical support for the implementation, management, troubleshooting and maintenance for the network infrastructure of the customer.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Resolve network-related incidents and accomplish service requests.
Create change requests and attend Change Advisory Board Meetings for any network-related changes to be implemented.
Investigate and drive resolution for all network related problem tickets.
Consult network solutions to IBM internal and our Customers
Communicate with Internal IBM employees and external partners.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 5 years Experience
Local Area Network (LAN)
Wide Area Network (WAN) Datacenter Networking
Load Balancing
Network Security - Firewall / NAC Devices (5 years)
Wireless Network Technologies
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Demonstrated experience implementing Cisco ACI - Nexus 9500 and 9300.
Exposure in Riverbed WAN optimization technologies.
Knowledge of new WAN technologies such as iWAN (DMVPN,IP SLA)
Amenable to work on a client-based schedule (dayshift/midshift) in IBM client site
You should at least have a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent
