JOB DESCRIPTION:
Monitoring network engineering performance and ensure system availability and reliability
Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company's security team
Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)

Provide responsive hands on technical support for office users or areas they may assigned to. Take primary responsibility on handling and tracking incoming request.
Set up new users and train them on system usage, corporate standards and information security. Identify and implement improvements to training program by incorporating feedback from the user.
Build strong working relationships with users to set service level expectations and align support with business requirements. Develop and implement procedures to measure and improve support.
Improve early detection of problems and use root cause analysis to the likewise of future failures. Develop and document procedures to efficiently resolve problems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of BS Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or any related discipline from reputable school.
1 to 2-year(s) work experience in related field.
Familiarity with MacOS, Windows, Linux and UNIX operating system.
Basic Programming skill (Object-oriented, Procedural and High-level programming)
Basic to intermediate networking skills (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, IP Subnetting and etc.)
Basic to intermediate troubleshooting skills both software and hardware.
