Job Description
What this Job Entails:
The Network Inventory Specialist II supports the client's global network. The team's objective is to proactively manage global site locations and customer inventory vendor base.
Scope:
Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues
Works on problems of moderate scope
Receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new projects
Your Roles and Responsibilities:
Learn our existing vendor base, identify inefficiencies, and recommend opportunities to improve the individual vendor relationship in each case by case basis
Participate in daily management of current vendor inventory base
Take part in vendor negotiations

Required Qualifications/Skills:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2 to 5 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, and work with cross functional teams as required
Understanding of vendor management
Familiarity with database management, including data input
Strong customer service skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively interact with vendors and customers at all levels
Organizational and operational skills to manage multiple tasks at once
Self-motivated, goal oriented and team-centric
Ability to build vendor relationships with our existing global vendor base
Ability to analyze and think strategically, identify creative solutions to meet our departmental needs
Preferred Qualifications:
Physical Demand & Work Environment:
Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing
Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment
Must be able to use a computer
Must have the ability to communicate effectively
Some positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
