Job Title NavIP Associate Development Engineer
Purpose of the role:
The NavIP (Navitaire Internal Products) Associate Software Development Engineer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting different products managed by the NavIP team.The position will be handling in-house applications for Navitaire's needs like time entry, customer billing, reporting, and in supporting the company's development delivery and management tool which is Azure DevOps (ADO).This involves designing, coding, and testing accurate and performant solutions written in C#, HTML, JavaScript, and SQL. The role will be tasked to deliver high quality results in a fast-paced environment, developing product enhancements, bug fixes, and addressing critical support items in a timely manner. This position will require close collaboration with MNL and US team members through emails and regular team meetings and scrum events.
Job Description:
Analyze requirements, propose solution, code and automate testing of solutions.
Resolve application issues.
Build expertise on assigned functionalities.
Follow workload prioritization and adhere to the team's software development process.
Closely collaborate with US counterparts for handoffs, knowledge exchange, and participating in regular calls and project updates.
About the ideal candidate:
Must possess a University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar discipline with good academic records from schools with reputable CS/IT programs.
C# / .NET programming experience.
Experience or knowlege in Web development (HTML, JavaScript, ASP .Net, Angular)
SQL experience or knowledge (SQL Server).
Able to write unit tests.
Experience or knowledge with CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Coninuous Delivery) tools and processes, or cloud application development is preferred.
Knowledge on automated testing framework is a plus.
Proven ability to analyze and solve problems and issues effectively.
Can work in a team environment and share knowledge to team members.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
