Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales Information and Business Support Manager - Flour is responsible for sales information and provides business support to its customers. The primary task is to help flour customers strengthen their operations through process improvements, information management, planning, systems implementation and support. The manager is responsible in handling business intelligence and other pertinent sales information to provide management basis for making informed decisions, and meet the top line and bottom line objectives of the company.
The manager is also responsible for handling the flour sales team's adoption of digital solutions and helping them transition to become a data driven organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
I. BUSINESS SUPPORT and MARKET INTELLIGENCE
Contribute to the achievement of the company's financial targets and performance standards;
Help develop sales plans to establish and achieve sales goals and profitability targets per region/territory;.
Gathers and evaluates market situation, competitor prices & programs and collaborates appropriate business strategies;
Gathers and documents relevant to flour industry information, data, figures and updates/developments;
Drive the planning and execution of the monthly and quarterly direct sales operational forecasts;
Facilitate the sales process improvements, quarterly project assessments and industry projections;
Facilitate in improving and strengthening the warehousing and logistics solutions and capability of Dealers and Distributors in partnership with the Order Fulfillment team with the end goal of achieving operational effectiveness and efficiency;
Provide tailored, simplified and innovative solutions for customers that can bring sustainable value to their business.
II. SALES and CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT
Together with the sales team, conceptualizes information management systems to determine effectiveness and sustainability of sales programs designed to grow our business with customers;
Assess marketing opportunities and target markets, intelligence gathering on customers and competitors, and relevance of business model design;
Establish strong pipeline and distribution channel visibility.
III. FOOD SAFETY:
Complies with quality, Halal, health and food safety policy, standards and regulations of the company.
Responsible for reporting problems related to Halal, food safety & quality management system to identified authorities.
IV. OTHER TASKS:
Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, risk management etc.
Performs other tasks as may be assigned by the immediate superior.
Qualifications
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
At least five (5) years work experience in sales/marketing preferably in the supply chain & logistics industry
