Job Description
The INVENTORY SPECIALIST is responsible for overseeing and optimizing remote warehouse operations. He is responsible in supervising the receiving, warehousing and managing all inventory related functions including inventory accuracy and data integrity of all the monitoring files ensuring all deliverables are met within the expected time.
Inbound:
Coordinates with OF team and shipping line on all incoming shipments to remote warehouse
Issues ATP - authorization to process to shipping lines in order to process and release containers
Oversees the inbound delivery to remote CY warehouse
Outbound:
Performs systems transactions and ensures availability & completeness of documents required in the dispatch of goods
Updates monitoring file and provides beginning and ending inventory to internal customers
System Management (thru Oracle system):
Shipcon
Sub-i transfer
Inventory, Planning & Replenishment:
Oversee inventory and replenish additional stocks when needed
Lead monthly inventory count
Maintains count accuracy (systems vs. physical vs. record)
Manages stocks monthly recon
Provides inventory control reports as required
Billing and Endorsement:
Review and endorse billings coming from supplier
Provides monthly accruals report
Others:
Provides monthly KPI report
Act as a point person for remote CY warehouse, oversee inventory movement
as well as the personnel assigned, ensuring daily inventory and other related instructions are being attended
Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of warehouse facilities to ensure the proper housekeeping and safekeeping of
finished goods in compliance to safety and food industry standards set by the HACCP & GWP programs
Provide immediate feedback on complaints related item and quantity discrepancies
Performs task as duly assigned
Request fumigation services if needed
Qualifications
Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures specifically in relation to inventory
Ability to establish effective interpersonal relationships with colleagues & third party service providers
Good command of English, both oral and written
Has confidence, ethics and perseverance
Capability in handling confidential matters
Computer literacy in data processing and required software applications
Speed and accuracy in performing simple mathematical calculations with the aid of a computer,
calculator or an adding machine
