Client: US healthcare company looking for candidates with experience handling insurance verification and pre-authorization. 
Position: Benefits and Eligibility Coordinator 
Objective: To determine patients insurance coverage for needed services provided by the provider.
Location: Remote (Work from home) 
Type of Work: Full time, permanent 
Work Hours: Mon - Fri,  Day shift and Night shift available
Role and Responsibilities:
The Benefits and Eligibility Coordinator will review patients’ eligibility and benefits of medical insurance coverage 
Verify insurance coverage, benefits and eligibility of each patient via phone and portals
Review patients’ background and scope
Review patients' health history
Request medical information from the patient
Keep information confidential
Explain coverage to patients
Job Requirements: 
 
Experience with verification of benefits and eligibility for claims on behalf of the provider
Experience working with Insurance companies
Previous billing experience preferred
Experience working for a nursing facility either physically or remotely is a plus
Adept with procedures in a nursing home or hospital setting
Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Suite
Documentation skills
Understand medical jargon
Salary Range: $650-$850 / month 
Start date: Can start ASAP 
Tools needed: You MUST have your own laptop/desktop computer, a stable internet connection, and a noise cancellation headset.
