JOB SUMMARY:
The HR Supervisor implements and administers payroll and compensation & benefits procedures and policies enabling the company to retain its talent in an efficient and cost-effective way. Assists the HR Manager in the management and implementation of these programs.
REPORTS DIRECTLY TO: HR MANAGER
SUPERVISES: TIMEKEEPER or HR ASSISTANT
STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Payroll and Timekeeping
a. Processes payroll and ensures accuracy of data in the payroll system
b. Validates and prepares all government reports
c. Answers queries related to payroll and company & government-mandated benefits
d. Prepares annual reports including BIR 2316
e. Validates the Alphalist and ensures its timely submission to BIR
2. HR Data and System
a. Over-all in-charge of the automation projects as directed by the HR Manager
b. Facilitates the migration of the company's HRIS and acts as the HRIS Administrator
c. Keeps and maintains organized records of compensation and benefit plans and programs
d. Monitors and collects necessary data from employees to ensure compliance with benefits processing
and filing with government agencies
e. Prepares Certificate of Employment for employees
3. Compensation and Benefits
a. Assists the HR Manager in monitoring and ensuring the effectiveness of existing compensation
procedures, guidelines and policies
b. Recommends plan revisions and new plans which are cost effective and consistent with compensation
trends
c. Ensures compliance in national and regional wage mandates
d. Monitors and collects necessary data from employees to ensure compliance with benefits processing
and filing with government agencies
e. Handles complex queries, processes and escalations related to benefits. Liaises with government
agencies to properly address issues
f. Assists the HR Manager in acquiring up to date information related to mandated benefits
g. Prepares and manages knowledge transfer of all statutory benefits and payroll requirements to the
team by conducting trainings and documentation of procedures
h. Manages staff deductions including loans, HMO, and others
i. Ensures compliance to all company benefits such as but not limited to Loans and Leaves
j. Processes Last Pay of separated employees
k. Computes for the Retirement Pay
l. Coordinates with HMO provider all concerns related to employee health benefits
m. Coordinates for HMO Renewal and sourcing of other providers
4. Reports
a. Ensures timely submission of validated reports for payment including monthly expanded and
compensation withholding taxes, PhilHealth, HDMF and SSS
b. Develop and maintains statistics and analysis as needed for all compensation and benefit plans
5. Support to Affiliate Companies
a. Provides basic support in payroll and compensation and benefits administration for affiliate company
6. Performs other duties that maybe assigned or required
