The HR Manager will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the HR site activities. This position will work collaboratively within a Global HR organization, supporting the talent growth, retention and motivation initiatives. You will serve as a key representative between management and employee's, and you will represent a broader Global HR community. This position will assist in developing strategic solutions to support the organization's business goals.
Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition
In collaboration with hiring managers, assist with development of job description
Ensures consistent application of recruitment life cycle
Works collaboratively with a talent acquisition shared services team to ensure active engagement and timely hiring of talent.
Effectively on boards new talent to the organization
Compensation and Benefits Management
Ensures consistent application to ensure fair and equitable compensation
Ensures compliance to set standards on benefits and salary scale as mandated by the government
In collaboration with other HR managers, researches and assesses compensation and benefit trends and makes recommendations for improvements
Administers and manages the company-initiated employee benefit programs for the site
Performance Management
Oversees consistent application of performance management processes
Ensures effective tracking and monitoring of performance management compliance in accordance with organizational processes
Provides monthly performance updates to management
Assist managers in effectively managing performance
Training and Development
Partner with managers to understand the training and development needs of the organization
In collaboration with site leadership, identify cost-effective training solutions that meet the business needs and are within budget
Develop and deliver training programs, as needed, to support the needs of the business
Labor Relations
Establishes and develops HR-initiated company policies, as requested
Ensures that existing policies are thoroughly explained and uniformly administered in all aspects of the operations
Ensures adherence and compliance to company's code of conduct
Ensures that the company is compliant with the labor laws
Collaborates with department leaders to ensure that decisions for progressive discipline actions are aligned with the company policies and labor standards
Conducts analysis and review of consequence management policy
Ensures that company's guidelines, procedures and policies are updated
Facilitates conflict resolution within the organization
Business Partnering
Acts as strategic partner with site leadership in achieving organizational objectives/goals
Coordinates with other HR Managers and ensures alignment of HR policies and processes
Analyzes trends on defined metrics
Change Management
In collaboration with site leadership and broader Global HR team, assist in effectively managing change through the design and implementation of change management processes
Effectively facilitate employee engagement through change management initiatives
Employee Engagement & Recognition
Establishes, develops and evaluates employee engagement programs
Promotes the Global recognition program and increases engagement through creative solutions
Conducts and analyzes organizational engagement survey to site employees to identify organizational alignment and needs
Brand and culture ambassador for all site employee
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Behavioral Sciences or similar
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as an HR Manager
Strong understanding of Labor Laws and General Labor Standards
Demonstrated experience & knowledge in various HR disciplines: Recruitment, Employee Relations, Employee Engagement, Compensation, Benefits and Talent Management
Demonstrated experience in conflict management
Experience in managing organizational change
Strategic planning experience
Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
Excellent decision-making skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Project management experience
Conflict resolution
