JOB DESCRIPTION:
Compensation and Benefits
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
Handles employment-related inquiries from employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
Admin
To liaise with the property management company for all elements of building access, use, restrictions and safety requirements, and to ensure all new and visiting staff are fully briefed in this regard.
Support in the management of IT assets, including purchasing & setting up of equipment and managing various software licenses.
To be the first point of contact for general HR and Admin inquiries.
To purchase where needed, and to manage and maintain office equipment and train staff on use as necessary.
To manage office supplies, including inventory and purchasing.
To manage office services and effective cost and quality of suppliers.
To manage transportation services which include coordination with the drivers and messengers and plan out the itineraries.
Answer employee questions and addresses employee concerns with company; including employee safety, welfare, wellness and health.
Manages committees on wellness, training, health and safety, culture, and communications as needed
Recruitment
Recruit and interview potential applicants on experience, skills, and education
Update job requirements when needed
Analyzes staffing logistics and organizes documentation
Contact applicant references and perform background checks required by company
Organize and manage new employee orientation, on-boarding, and training programs
Cover all legal compliance for human resources requirements
Maintain employee records and paperwork
Conducts in-depth and behavioral assessment or personality tests from Entry Level up to Managerial positions.
In-charge of job offer contract management
Communicate with the hiring managers to have a better understanding of manpower requests
Training and Development
Identify training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses
Translate requirements into trainings that will groom employees for the next step of their career path
Build annual training program and prepare teaching plans
Develop or oversee the production of classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids and manuals
Direct structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results
Acclimate new hires to the business and conduct orientation sessions
Deliver training courses
Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees work behavior
Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes
Stay abreast of the new trends and tools in employee development
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology or a related field, or extensive prior experience in human resources.
At least 1-3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Knows how to administer personality tests from rank and file to managerial positions.
Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and labor relations, preferred.
A player-coach & someone who can think at a whole of business level as well as be hands-on; highly collaborative; very service focused - someone who looks for solutions and loves solving problems; energetic; positive with a good sense of humor.
Organized and efficient in daily tasks
Must be fluent in English skills would be an advantage.
Must be an excellent written and verbal communicator; strong consulting skills & able to influence and resolve issues
