JOB DESCRIPTION:
This role is responsible for managing Abbott Rapid Diagnostics HIV product portfolio to the assigned territory, achieving sales targets and growing the business. He / She must possess and apply detailed and technical product knowledge as well as thorough knowledge of client's business to introduce new products/services to clients and generate repeat sales of existing products. He / She must also refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands.

Key Areas of Accountability :
Develop, execute and monitor plans to meet established sales goals and objectives while utilizing the budget effectively
Establish, develop and expand customer base from the assigned territory who can benefit from Abbott HIV product lines
Complete planned customer visits to make sales presentations to existing and prospective customers, provides information and technical support, calculates and quotes prices, takes orders, and closes sales
Provides industry and product knowledge to customers HIV products value propositions and helps customize the existing product portfolio to their needs with solution sales techniques
Assist marketing and sales management in the development and implementation of new sales strategies, tactics and tools for new market opportunities
Monitor performance against objectives and performs analysis on territory opportunities to develop customer and product forecasts
Monitor market, customer and competitor trends and advise management on methods to improve company competitiveness
Provides technical expertise in all HIV products particularly the HIV Monitoring products (PIMA CD4 and mPIMA VL)

Fast learner and quickly adapts to changing territory needs
Demonstrated proactiveness and excellent customer service
Can handle multi tasks like territory sales management, technical support and multiple product promotion.
Must have an excellent time management skills
Competencies required:
Strong influencing and negotiation skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Must be able to work in a team environment with good organizational skills,
Strategic thinking and analytical skills
Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Medical technology Biology, Chemistry, Laboratory science or equivalent.
At least 2 years of sales experience.
Experience in pharmaceutical and medical device industry, an advantage.
Pleasing personality with good interpersonal skills and service-minded.
Aggressive, willing to take on stretch targets
Must be willing to be assigned anywhere in the Philippines (Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao)
Proven excellence in both written and oral communication in Filipino and English Knowledge in Diagnostic machines/equipment set up and/or maintenance will be an advantage.
One Sales Specialist will be assigned in Luzon and one will be assigned in VisMin
