Full Stack Developer IC2 (Work From Home)
 
Job Description:
 
We're looking for a results-driven Full Stack Developer IC2 to join our remote-first engineering team. This role is hands-on and architecture-minded, with a strong focus on building scalable internal tools, including an LLM-based support bot currently in early development.
You'll contribute across the stack while helping shape technical direction, ensuring solutions are practical, secure, and easy for non-technical users to adopt.
 
Must Have Qualifications:
3+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
Strong proficiency in React, Node.js, and/or Python.
Deep, practical understanding of React core concepts, including correct usage of useEffect, useLayoutEffect, useMemo, and useCallback, etc.
Solid foundation in system design, API architecture, and scalable services.
Hands-on experience building AI systems using MCP or similar structured decision frameworks.
Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and take initiative.
Nice to have Qualifications:
Experience with Go and Ruby (not required, but a plus).
Familiarity with internal tooling, cloud services, or distributed systems.
Strong sense of ownership, with the ability to drive work forward with minimal oversight.
Interest in AI systems and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
 
AI & Backend Work:
Work on AI-related services and features, primarily using Node.js. Build and maintain AI systems leveraging Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agentic workflows.
Help build and maintain AI integrations, data pipelines, and knowledge-base-backed systems (e.g., blob storage, embeddings).
Design, build, and maintain APIs used across internal systems and AI services.
Write clear, maintainable code that aligns with existing engineering standards.
Frontend Development:
Build and maintain internal and user-facing interfaces using React.
Improve usability, performance, and clarity of existing frontend features.
Apply design thinking when building AI-driven workflows, focusing on user intent, clarity, and edge cases.
System & Performance:
Take ownership of features from design through delivery and iteration.
Identify and resolve performance or reliability issues in AI and backend services.
Contribute to architectural decisions as systems scale and evolve.
Collaboration:
Work closely with internal engineers, support, product, and design to deliver features end-to-end.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and design reviews.
Proactively identify gaps or improvements in existing systems and workflows.
Testing & Debugging:
Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure long-term reliability.
Debug issues across frontend, backend, and AI-related components with a focus on root-cause analysis.
