Rate: $6-7/hr and earn up to 70,000 PHP+/month 
Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PST with 30-min unpaid lunch and two
paid 15-min breaks.
 
 
Job Description:
As a Full-Stack Developer (IC2), you will contribute to the development and maintenance of Netlify's core platform and services. You will work with Go and Ruby, developing features that enhance the user experience, improve scalability, and drive platform performance. This role is ideal for a developer with solid programming skills and a passion for building secure, efficient, and high-performing applications.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Backend & API Development:
Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using Go and Ruby.
Work with APIs to enable seamless integrations between different components of the platform.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Frontend & UI Development:
Implement user-facing features, ensuring responsiveness and performance.
Work with JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or similar) to enhance the platform's user experience.
Collaborate with designers to create intuitive and accessible interfaces.
System & Performance Optimization:
Optimize database queries and application performance for scale.
 Identify and fix bottlenecks, ensuring reliability and efficiency in backend operations.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work:
Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build high-impact features.
Participate in code reviews, sharing feedback and best practices to improve code quality.
Contribute to team discussions on architecture, design decisions, and project planning.
Testing & Debugging:
Write unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and maintainability of code.
Debug and resolve technical issues, working to improve system stability.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in full-stack development.
Proficiency in Go and Ruby, with experience building backend services and APIs.
Experience with frontend development, ideally using JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue.
Understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience writing efficient queries.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
A problem-solving mindset with a passion for building scalable, maintainable software.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, working effectively with remote teams.
Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and improve existing systems.
Good To Have Qualifications:
Experience working with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
Experience working with GraphQL or RESTful APIs.
