Job Description
Responsibilities:
Must have a strong understanding of the Finance & Accounting Program, as well as the logistics environment. Responsible for directing the financial strategies of the company, overseeing the preparation of financial reports and managing the accounting operations of the business.
Oversee the preparation of financial reports, and analyses of future earnings or expenses.
Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P and Cost Accounting.
Advising and dealing with tax matters and ensures compliance with tax legislation.
Monitor and control the flow of cash positions, receipts and disbursements.
Collates and analyze figures and statistics, producing reports for management.
Reviewing and adapting new and existing financial systems and controls.
Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
Able to resolve any operational issues, as well as manage both internal and external customers systematically.
Requirements:
Candidate must be a Certified Public Accountant.
With at least 5 years working experience in any Finance / Accounting function.
Work experience in international logistics and forwarding company an advantage.
Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
Knows how to prepare financial statement and consolidation.
In-depth knowledge in Corporate Taxation.
Strong in excel.
Effective reporting and communication skills; both oral and written.
Willing to work in Taguig
