We are seeking a highly experienced Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in accounting and finance.
The Controller manages the company's accounting operations and financial reporting through functional, technical, and process leadership across accounting, internal financial reporting, and bank accounting and reporting. You will play an essential role in ensuring the company continues to build a first-class accounting function.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
General ledger and recording of all business transactions, including detailed analysis and reconciliation of all general ledger accounts
Performing and managing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement closing activities and the preparation of related financial statements and various ad hoc reports
Overseeing the processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management, ensuring month-end close and financial reporting deadlines
Ensuring accurate, timely direct and indirect tax and payment reporting
Identifying changes in regulations or risk exposure that could impact the Company
Assists in assessing, drafting, and implementing effective internal controls over financial reporting and other business process improvements
Leading continuous improvement accounting operations increasing automation and scale
Assisting in identifying, scrutinizing, and implementing revenue-generating and/or expense-saving opportunities in the Company.
Performing other duties as needed to support the Accounting and Finance Department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance (CPA is a plus)
2+ years of experience in Controller positions
Concrete knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel
Ability to work with Accounting Technology Software
Professional written and oral communication skills
Confident ability to multi-task independently
Keen attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Logical thinking with strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
