What it's about
You will be responsible for the complete, accurate and timely fee calculation of Partners Group programs and its clients around the globe.
In this role you will understand various fee structures and principles for a portfolio of private market programs and clients over the fund/investment life cycle, including management, incentive fees and transaction-related fees and offsets.
You will also be part of the fee team that performs various program and client fee related activities while working with various operational teams and client relationship professionals around the world.
Your tasks include:
Interpreting fee terms in legal agreements
Entering, reviewing and overseeing fee parameters within the fee database
Performing and reviewing closing and periodic fee calculations within stipulated deadlines
Performing and reviewing transaction-related fee and offset calculations within stipulated timeline
Liaising and overseeing special transaction-related fee offset arrangements with Group Finance
Analyzing and identifying fee patterns and developments
Managing several fee system automated alerts and prompts
Adhering to internal fee processes and controls annually reviewed
Implementing fee automation initiatives
Coordinating annual external fee audits
Clarifying fee terms with Legal and Structuring teams
Discussing with Client Relationship and Risk teams on fee outcomes
Contributing to proper documentation of outcomes and decisions
Recommending refinements to fee systems and processes
Assisting with client queries surrounding fees
Critically assessing unusual fee structures
What we expect
Bachelor's degree from a university, preferably in Math / Accounting / Finance plus 3-4 years of working experience.
Private Equity/Venture Capital/Hedge Fund accounting/audit/finance work experience would be an advantage.
Candidates should be independent, analytical, possess a keen eye for details, and able to synthesize fee concepts and thereon impact
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
