About the job:
Role: Executive Assistant
Work Schedule: Full-Time | 45 hours a week | 8 AM - 5 PM | West Africa Time (may change depending on client's current location)
Salary Range: 1,500.00 - 2,000.00 USD per month (Dependent on the skills and experience)
Our client, a corporate lawyer, athlete, and entrepreneur, invests in early-stage impact start-ups led by ethnic minorities. Holding key roles in Nigeria's Presidential campaign, they advocate for youth voices, inclusion, civic engagement, and innovative social solutions, driven by a relentless commitment to making a difference.
We are looking for an Executive Assistant to play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our client's operations on a daily basis.
Reporting directly to the client, this full-time position requires 45 hours per week and is based primarily in West Africa Time (although the client travels frequently to the UK, Dubai, so some time flexibility is required). The role offers a competitive salary range of around $1500 to $2000 a month, plus 28 days PTO, and growth opportunities as you grow into your role as a trusted partner to our client.
Role and Responsibilities:
As the Executive Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our fund's operations on a daily basis. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Organizing Schedule and Priorities: Coordinate and manage daily schedule and priorities, ensuring alignment with overarching objectives.
Email Management and Prioritization: Efficiently filter and manage emails, highlighting priority communications and drafting responses as necessary.
Thorough Research: Conduct comprehensive research on relevant topics, providing detailed insights and summaries for decision-making purposes.
Booking and Calendar Management: Manage calendars, book appointments, and schedule meetings efficiently to optimize time and resources.
Task Organization and Prioritization: Organize tasks, prioritize activities, and ensure deadlines are met in a timely manner.
Assistance in Project Management: Support in the planning and execution of projects, contributing to timely completion and successful outcomes.
Identification of Process Improvement Opportunities: Identify areas for improvement and contribute suggestions and ideas to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
Immediate Tasks for Week 1:
In your first week, you will take ownership of the following tasks:
Calendar and Schedule Management: Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements, while adding events to the calendar efficiently.
Research Support: Conduct in-depth research on various topics to provide comprehensive insights and information.
Inbox and Communication Management: Manage emails and communication channels, ensuring timely responses and maintaining communication hygiene.
Prioritization Assistance: Assist in prioritizing tasks and activities, ensuring alignment with goals and objectives.
Operations Management: Maintain operational hygiene and upkeep, including the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for granular tasks.
Booking and Travel Management: Handle bookings and travel arrangements, ensuring smooth logistics and efficient utilization of resources.
