ASSISTANT LEGAL OFFICER
 
REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR/SENIOR MANAGER
 
This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a keen eye for detail. The Real Estate Legal Assistant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing legal documents, conducting title searches, coordinating closings, and maintaining accurate records.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and review legal documents related to real estate transactions.
Conduct title searches and review title reports.
Coordinate and schedule real estate closings.
Maintain accurate and organized records of all transactions.
Assist Directors/Senior Manager (LCO) with drafting and filing legal documents.
Communicate with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
Provide administrative support to Director/Senior Manager (LCO) as needed.
Assist with the preparation of closing statements and other financial documents.
Review and analyze real estate contracts and agreements.
Coordinate with title companies and other third parties.
Assist with the resolution of any issues or disputes that arise during transactions.
Maintain confidentiality of all client information.
Stay up-to-date with changes in real estate laws and regulations.
Undertakes any and all other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
